The Story of the Talking Donkey:

In the Quran, there is a notable story about a donkey mentioned in Surah Al-'Alaq (Chapter 96), verses 14-16. This story is a part of the early revelations received by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and serves as a lesson for humankind.

Men were punished by transforming into Monkeys for transgression of Allah's commands...

The Quran does mention a story involving a group of people who faced a punishment from Allah for their disobedience, but it does not involve any transformation into animals.

One such story is mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah (Chapter 2), verse 65, which talks about the Israelites during the time of Prophet Moses (Musa in Arabic). The verse states:

The Story of the People of the Cave:

 In the Quran, there is a fascinating story about a group of monkeys mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah (Chapter 2), verses 259-260. This story is known as "The Story of the People of the Cave."

In the time of a righteous king, there were four young men who believed in one God and were seeking refuge from persecution due to their faith. These four men decided to escape the city and take refuge in a cave. In the cave, they prayed to Allah, seeking His guidance and protection.

18:5 مَا لَهُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ عِلْمٍ وَّلَا لِاٰبَآٮِٕهِمْ‌ؕ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ اَفْوَاهِهِمْ‌ؕ اِنْ يَّقُوْلُوْنَ اِلَّا كَذِبًا‏  

அவர்களுக்கோ, இன்னும் அவர்களுடைய மூதாதையர்களுக்கோ இதைப் பற்றி எவ்வித அறிவாதாரமுமில்லை; அவர்களுடைய வாய்களிலிருந்து புறப்படும் (இந்த) வார்த்தை பெரும் பாபமானதாகும்; அவர்கள் கூறுவது பொய்யேயன்றி 

வேறில்லை

18:04 وَّيُنْذِرَ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ وَلَدًا

18:4. “அல்லாஹ் (தனக்கென) ஒரு மகனை எடுத்துக் கொண்டான்” என்று சொல்பவர்களை எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவும் (இதனை இறக்கி வைத்தான்).
